Here is the step by step process in applying for your CE for Students with Disabilities: 1) Go to TCIS...log on www.nj.gov/njded/educators/license/tcis/2) Go to apply online 3) Then hit New Certificate and answer the questions (NOTE: the ID# or Endorsement Code to use here is 2475)4) Then go to Academic Subject Matter Specialization 5) Go to Special Education - Teacher of Students with Disabilities 6) Pay using credit card 7) Get the Tracking # Once you've completed the online process, then you need to: 1) Have your official 6 credit special education transcript and other things mentioned in the checklist under TCIs user manual, (You need another Oath of Alligiance!!), and send it to the NJDOE. Note: Make sure you ask the registrars office to mention the Tracking # on or with the transcript.

Just a heads up everyone... Ms. Davis wrote us the following email today. So we're still sending it all in as a group to Mia at Montclair State University! So apply online, but send your Oath and Transcript to Mia and NOT to the NJDOE.
The NJCUE in partnership with the NJSDOE have established a process for issuing CE to the teachers in the NJCUE.
The State Department nor I appreciate attempts to usurp this process given the high volume of applications received during the this time of year.
The NJSDOE has the names of all NJCUE Teachers and is expecting documents to be processed as follows:
1. You go online and apply for the appropriate CE - in this case TOSD.
2. Your partnering University Liaison or you may request an official transcript for your summer coursework and forward same to Ms. Mia Hargett at MSU.
3. We have made an agreement with our partner, the NJSDOE to batch all NJCUE Official Transcripts and Oaths of Allegiance (including making certain that your ID number is on the documents) and Federal Express same to our Liaison at the NJSDOE for immediate processing.
If you have not already, please do not attempt to circumvent or undermine this process.
Thank you.
